VA-4 Special Election: McClellan (D) vs. Benjamin (R)

Following the death of representative elect Don McEachin (D) weeks after his election, a special election was scheduled for February 21, 2023 to fill his vacant seat. The election for Virginia's 4th district seat will take place between Jennifer McClellan, a Democrat, and Leon Benjamin, a Republican. This market will resolve to "McClellan" if Jennifer McClellan wins this special election. This market will resolve to "Benjamin" if Leon Benjamin wins this special election. If this election does not take place by June 30, 2023, this market will resolve 50-50. Determination of the winner of this House election will be based on a consensus of credible reporting, or if there is ambiguity, final state election authority certification or other final official determination of the election results.
