Will Chamath launch a SPAC in 2025?

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Chamath Palihapitiya is listed as a founder of a new SPAC (Special Purpose Acquisition Company) that is filed with the SEC or begins trading publicly between June 18, 2025 and December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No" A SPAC qualifies if it is either filed with the SEC (via S-1) or begins trading on a U.S. exchange (e.g. NYSE, NASDAQ) between June 18, 2025 and Dec 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Passive investment or informal advisory roles will not qualify. The resolution source for this market will be SEC filings, however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
